Half Way There

// The Mustard Sandwich House x Christmas Eve Date | Project 22 //

It was the day before Christmas, my friend and I decided on tasting Mustard House;
opposite Ave Maria School. From the outside of the place, it looks like a small cafe but to my surprise; there is extra seating at the back.

The place is stylish and was a great atmosphere, a bright shopfront with a private dining room at the back.

We were offered a Christmas menu in addition to the normal, ala carte. The prices are quite a little toward the luxurious side. We ordered the Christmas soup and appetizer along with pasta as our mains.
Beautifully presented here is my verdict.

Pastas
Creamy Cauliflower with Herb Oil
Aglio Olio Bacon & Mushrooms

Personally I would enjoy more garlic in my olio and some parmesan but overall quite nice.
A great taste have served at little too cold.

Duck Salad
It tasted sweet and fantastic, different the strawberries provided enough acidity to finish a great salad.

We had Ceylon tea and latte.
Milk for tea is an add on.

Overall a pleasant and private dining experience, the staff are attentive and knowledgeable will definitely comeback for the salad which will only continue until the New Year.
